The unit is equipped with GPS and zone alarm will alert if the object is moved more than a pre-configured distance from the original position, e.g. 200 meters. The alert will be in form of a text message.
Nextved is cooperating with companies specialising in different types of maps, both for the Internet as well as larger “stand alone” applications. Subscriptions can be bought where the current position is presented on a map and continuously updated. Longitudes and latitudes can also be collected form the unit via SMS, free of charge.
